Downtown3rd Farmer's Market, Las Vegas

An abundance, a cornucopia, a smorgasbord of produce!!

Old Bus Station Downtown
Upon Hearing that Las Vegas was going to have another Farmers Market in the Downtown area got us really excited!  We have an outdoor one on Eastern Avenue that's relatively near us, but it never hurts to have more.  And this one is really different in that it's located in the old Bus Station near the Mob Museum.  It's a little unusual, but hey, isn't that Vegas?  The Farmers Market runs on Friday, so it's a good time to run over and have lunch from the foodtrucks and then buy some fresh produce for the weekend...

SO it's still in its inception, but there's stuff to rummage thru and purchase.  What I like is that you can get some hard to find vegetables here and it's moderately priced. It's reminiscent of Mario Batali's Farmer's Market he had in the past, with a lot of the same vendors, with maybe the addition of newcomers like Bread & Butter and Bon Breads (two of our ABOSOLUTE favorite)!

Since it's only for use on Fridays, there are no permanent installations of booths,  but its good to see a Farmers Market in a building here.  I hope that this grows into an institution, it will definitely enrich the lives of our community!

Afterwards, you can grab a bite to eat at the foodtrucks-there's a roving selection every week, but I recommend Fukuburger, it's the best mobile truck around!!
